In my humble opinion, the best question we ask Flintsters in these employee spotlights is what they learned from their very first jobs. This answer from Fargo office associate Taylor McAllister takes the cake:
“My first job was as a waitress at a country club. On my first day of work, an older, wealthy gentleman proposed to me. I gently declined with a smile. He then left me a $100 tip. Then my dad reminded me, ‘Marry the first time for money; the second time for love.’ Maybe I should’ve said ‘yes!’”
What has endured in Taylor is her passion for people and music (preferably together), and her infectious smile. As an Account Coordinator, she is actively involved with a call center that serves a major Flint Group client and its dealer network.
“I also monitor the surveys being conducted. It is a huge opportunity for us, and we are working hard to expand and keep things under control! I also am in charge of the incentives for our people who complete the surveys, which means I mail out a lot of gift cards. Other random projects are often thrown my way as well, and I enjoy the variety and excitement of this position,” Taylor tells us. “I work with a lot of very fun people.”
Taylor also spends time away from the office with fun people. “My boyfriend, friends and family are very important to me. And they are all hilarious, so it works out well for me,” she says.
Bling, anyone?
Taylor is also a very successful Lia Sophia jewelry consultant. “I started selling Lia Sophia jewelry a few years ago, and continued it all through college. It paid all my bills (and then some!), so I was able to travel and focus on my degree,” she explains. She still hosts 5 – 7 parties each month, and since jewelry and women go hand-in-hand (quite literally sometimes), it’s a great fit for her energy. Need some bling? Visit Taylor’s Lia Sophia website.
Travel souvenirs to share
Taylor has visited many places around the globe. “It’s absolutely fascinating to see how other people live.” She can pretty much do any accent or impression. Just ask. We guarantee you’ll be laughing. Meanwhile, check out her adventures on Taylor’s blog.

“One of my all time favorite photos. Sibling pic in the Coliseum during our family trip to Rome. I’m the silly one in the center.”
